Google Doodle Celebrates Google's 15th Birthday

This past September, Google celebrated the 15th birthday. Google the company was founded on September 4, 1998. Google Inc.. is an American multinational corporation that focuses on Internet services and products. Those products include search technology, web computing, software, and online advertising. Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while still a Ph.D. student at Stanford University. They both hold a 16 percent stake in the company. Original mission was "gathering the world's information and make it accessible and useful to all people", and not the official slogan is "Do not be evil". In 2006, Google's headquarters moved to Mountain View, California. Since its founding, the rapid growth of the company has produced a variety of products, acquisitions, and cooperation in the field of Google's core search engine. The company offers online productivity software (in the network), including electronic mail (gmail), package of office applications, and social networking. Its software products include applications to surf the web, organize and edit photos, and instant messaging. The company initiated the development of the Android operating system for mobile phones and Google Chrome OS to netbook lineup Chromebook. Google currently has touched all communications hardware. They work with a variety of major electronics manufacturers to produce its Nexus devices and acquired Motorola Mobility in May 2012. In 2012, fiber optic infrastructure installed in Kansas City to facilitate broadband Internet service Google Fiber. The company is expected to operate more than one million servers in multiple data centers around the world, and processes over one billion search queries and about 24 petabit user data every day. In December 2012, Alexa called google.com as the most visited website in the world.
